CenterPoint Properties’ recently completed 751,622-square-foot speculative facility at 3900 Brandon Road in Joliet, IL is fully leased. Located in the CenterPoint Intermodal Center- Joliet/Elwood, this building is occupied by the world’s largest home improvement retailer and a global engineering, repair and logistics company.
“These leases solidify our on-going zero percent vacancy in CIC-Joliet/Elwood,” said Brian McKiernan, senior vice president of development at CenterPoint. “We are thrilled to help two valued tenants expand their footprint in the Midwest.”
The home improvement retailer signed a 15-year, six-month lease for 250,309 square feet of the facility. Features include 3,600 square feet of office, 36-foot clear heights, 28 dock doors, 64 car parking positions and 629 trailer stalls. CenterPoint will also construct 591 new trailer parking stalls for this tenant on an additional 29.74 acres.
The global engineering, repair and logistics company signed a 63-month lease for 501,313 square feet of the facility. Features include 21,560 square feet of office, 36-foot clear heights, 67 dock doors, 460 car parking positions and 68 trailer stalls.
