Crop Bistro & Bar chef and owner Steve Schimoler will open two new restaurants, Crop Kitchen & Vine and Cropicana, in the new Flats East Bank development in Cleveland. Both restaurants, which will be developed as part of a Phase II opening in Spring of 2015, will offer diverse dining concepts and riverfront views.
“There is no question the Flats offers Cleveland’s best real estate with its riverfront location, and we wanted to be part of it,” said Schimoler in a written statement. “This is a strategic move for us to join in the positive momentum of yet another growing neighborhood in Cleveland.”
Crop Kitchen & Vine and Cropicana will offer two distinct concepts in 10,000 square feet of space, each with their own riverfront patios and open kitchens with chef seating.
Crop Kitchen & Vine will be a more casual version of the original bistro, featuring traditional items like pot roast and apple pie. The country-rooted fare will also feature many unique smoked dishes.
Directly next to Crop Kitchen & Vine, Cropicana will offer upscale Mexican fare with Latin and South American influence.
