BOMA Chicago awarded The Chicago Board of Trade Building “The Outstanding Building of the Year TOBY” for “Renovated Building” at the 2015 TOBY/Gold Circle Awards Gala held several weeks ago in Chicago. The building now moves on to compete against local winners from Indiana, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan and Ohio at the North Central Regional TOBY Awards this month.
The TOBY awards recognize excellence in building management, operational efficiency, tenant retention, emergency planning and community impact.
“This is a tremendous honor for our management team,” said GlenStar Principal Rand Diamond. “We are especially proud of the men and women who work so hard to make the Chicago Board of Trade Building the best, most desirable office location in the city of Chicago.” In January 2014 the Chicago Board of Trade Building was designated a BOMA 360 Performance Building by the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) International. The BOMA 360 Performance Program® validates and recognizes commercial properties that demonstrate best practices in building operations and management.
