Chicago Building Congress to honor Joe Antunovich with Award of Honor October 18, 2019 Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on LinkedIn Share via email The Chicago Building Congress (CBC) will recognize Joseph M. Antunovich, FAIA, founder and president of Antunovich Associates, with the 2019 Award of Honor. The CBC gives this annual award to individuals who have distinguished themselves both in the community and in the construction industry as a whole. In addition to designing ground-up work and master planning communities, Antunovich has devoted much of his time to historic preservation and adaptive re-use projects that celebrate the rich urban context and history of cities across America. Over the years, he has participated passionately in a number of significant preservation projects that have ensured that our marvelous historic buildings are preserved for future generations. A native of New Zealand, Antunovich earned a masters of architecture degree from the University of Southern California.
