On Wednesday, May 8, members from the Chicago chapter of the Society of Industrial & Office Realtors (SIOR) came together to participate in the organization’s 2019 Service Day by packing food at Feed My Starving Children in Schuamburg, Illinois. The Chicago Chapter was joined by Mark Duclos, SIOR National president-elect, for the activity.
Each year on May 8, SIOR chapters and their members are encouraged to volunteer their time and/or resources to give back to their communities and honor the greater good. The Chicago Chapter chose this organization by recognizing one of SIOR’s founding principles, “to serve the greater good.” Feed My Starving Children is a nonprofit organization that provides nutritionally complete meals specifically formulated for malnourished children around the world.
