The Chicago Chapter of the Society of Industrial & Office Realtors (SIOR) is pleased to report that its members have donated 22 trunk scholarships as part of the 15th Annual Ada S. McKinley Revie Sorey Trunk Scholarship Program in 2023.
The scholarships are provided to students typically from the West and South sides of Chicago. Each scholarship winner is selected based on an essay contest and a demonstration of financial need. The winning essays can be read here.
At the scholarship celebration on July 26 at the South Shore Cultural Center, more than 100 of Chicago’s successful rising college freshmen were awarded college trunks for overcoming adversity to pursue a post-secondary education.
