The Alter Group announces a major new fine-dining restaurant at 20 West Kinzie, its 17-story, 385,000 SF Class A office building in downtown Chicago’s River North neighborhood. The restaurant, C Fish-House Chicago, is the third venture by David Flom and Matt Moore, the proprietors behind the Chicago Cut Steakhouse in River North and The Local Chicago in the Gold Coast. Michael J. Alter, President of the Chicago-based national corporate real estate development firm, made the announcement.
“The space will be completely fresh and include an open-air kitchen with a fish bar, a sushi station and an oyster bar,” said co-owner, Moore. “The cuisine will remain clean and simple with preparations including lemon, olive oil and sea salt, allowing the fish’s flavor to have its own expression. Whenever possible, we’ll be buying from fishermen and shipping directly to give our customers the very best ingredients on the market.”
C Fish-House Chicago will be designed by famed Chicago architect Mark Knauer of Knauer Incorporated who has designed luxury establishments around the world as well as such local dining destinations as Harry Caray’s, Trattoria No. 10 , Atwood Café and The Gage.
