Transwestern Real Estate Services (TRS) announced that Chicago Electric has signed a new, 46,559-square-foot lease at 865 Muirfield Drive at the Turnberry Lakes Business Center in Hanover Park, Illinois.
TRS senior executive vice president Michael Marconi, SIOR and executive vice presidents Joe Karmin and Justin Lerner, SIOR provided tenant advisory services on behalf of Chicago Electric.
Chicago Electric offers products, systems and complete machine solutions for automation in a range of industries with an emphasis in corrugated containers, plastic processing, packing, building materials and consumer products. As the company’s business is growing, Chicago Electric was looking to relocate from its 14,000-square-foot lease in Carol Stream, Illinois and expand into a new corporate headquarters and showroom.
“Chicago Electric had a unique requirement, and 865 Muirfield was the right property to accommodate its needs,” said Marconi. “The building has an existing office and showroom capabilities, and it is located in a prestigious business park with excellent highway proximity.”
The industrial warehouse is two miles from the Hanover Park Commuter Rail, three miles from the Schaumburg Commuter Rail and 30 minutes from O’Hare International Airport.
