Helen Torres has been promoted to vice president in the Chicago office of engineering firm Thornton Tomasetti.
Torres has more than 20 years experience in structural design for new buildings and renovations of existing structures. She has worked iwth Thornton Tomasetti for 12 years.
Recent projects that Torres has worked on include the Advanced Protein Crystallization Facility at Argonne National Laboratory, the William Eckhardt Research Center at the University of Chicago and a data center expansion.
