Chicago Real Estate Resources, Inc. (CRER) brokered four recent Chicago-area real estate transactions.
Eric Janssen with CRER facilitated the $8,000,000 sale of a vacant, 36,000-square-foot office building on approximately two acres, located at 1645 W. Fullerton Avenue in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood. CRER was the sole broker involved in the transaction. The existing structure will be retained and retrofitted for adaptive reuse.
CRER’s Nate Gautsche represented a Taco Bell franchisee in the off-market acquisition of a former gas station located at 257 W. Garfield Boulevard in Chicago. The site will be redeveloped into Taco Bell drive thru restaurant. Gautsche identified the off-market opportunity in a market coverage gap for the brand, negotiated the deal and navigated the buyer through the community meetings, environmental hurdles and zoning approvals. This is the sixth Chicago-area location that he has brokered for the brand.
Ryan Wewerka closed on a mixed-use property with retail and live/work spaces. He represented the long-time owner and operator of 2 Amigos Mexican Restaurant, which has called Logan Square home for the past 27 years.
Finally, Louis Head recently closed on a truck stop in southern Wisconsin that includes a restaurant and repair shop. This property is a fully operational truck stop and gas station that has a 24-hour restaurant, repair shop as well as gaming machines. The facility pumps over 600,000 gallons of diesel and over 100,000 gallons of gasoline per month. Monthly inside sales exceed $250,000.
