Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Network, a global business organization with 12,000 members representing every discipline in the industry, will host its 2022 convention at the Hilton Chicago, September 21-23. More than 1,300 commercial real estate professionals and industry influencers will be in attendance for deal making, business networking, industry education and leadership development. CREW Chicago is the local host chapter of this year’s convention, one of the industry’s most highly regarded annual events.
“In commercial real estate, ROI is paramount,” said 2022 CREW Network President Barbi Reuter, CEO and principal of Cushman & Wakefield | PICOR. “CREW Network understands this and delivers. You value a strong business network. CREW Network delivers your ROI with 12,000 professional connections—including the valuable in-person networking opportunities—to give and get business from one another.”
This year’s convention will have more than 30 sessions and networking opportunities to choose from, ranging from intimate peer exchanges to mega and general sessions featuring expert speakers. Keynote speakers include Jill Donovan, founder and CEO of Rustic Cuff, Lisa Ling, award-winning journalist, storyteller and executive producer, and Marci Rossell, world-renowned economist, and financial expert.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to get an insider’s view of Chicago commercial real estate projects through learning excursions offering historic and innovative tours of the city. Tours with availability include La Rapsodia Bohemia – Pilsen Historic District, The Chicago Riverwalk, and Boutique to Boom – Lincoln Park Retail Offers It All.
Each year, CREW Network Foundation, the organization’s charitable arm, hosts a fundraising event in conjunction with the convention to raise funds to support college scholarships, career outreach programs and industry research. This year’s event, A Roaring 20s Revelry, will be held Sept. 22 at Stan Mansion, a crown jewel of the Logan Square Historic District. Supporters will network and dance the night away in the mansion’s grandiose ballroom, enjoy the easygoing vibe of the Gilded Age, and have the opportunity to explore the elegance and architectural detail of the former Masonic lodge, built in 1923 and restored in 2018. Tickets and underwriter opportunities are available on the CREW Network website.
CREW Network provides the connections, resources, and opportunities for women in the industry to become more successful in their careers, seize business opportunities and grow their leadership skills. The organization’s mission is to transform the commercial real estate industry by advancing women globally.
For more than 33 years, women in commercial real estate have found success with CREW Network. Members connect to facilitate business deals across North America, the U.K, France, and India, with an eye on organizational expansion in Mexico and Europe in the coming years. While the convention is the largest gathering of CREW members annually, hundreds of CREW events are held annually by the organization’s 75+ chapters and global affiliates.
