Axiom Consulting Partners has doubled its space with its recent lease signing at 200 W. Adams in Chicago. The firm committed to a 19,954-square-foot lease, a 10,000-square-foot expansion on its existing 9,954 square feet. Colliers Chicago Principal Tony Karmin and Cresa’s Michael Marrion, formerly with Colliers, negotiated the long-term expansion and extension on behalf of the management consulting firm.
The firm is expanding its Chicago office on the heels of significant growth, taking advantage of the ability to customize its new space with more medium and large semi-open meeting spaces, improved in-house video-conferencing and unique small spaces for individual “heads-down” focus time, with the belief that the new space will be valuable to employees and clients who frequently collaborate at the Chicago office.
“In-person interaction helps not only to solidify culture but also shapes it for the future. Live interaction drives more effective problem solving and faster development of consultants,” said Axiom Consulting Partners’ President Garrett Sheridan. “We are planning for the next ten years, not the next ten months and must be mindful of the way we want to work together on behalf of our clients when the pandemic finally subsides.”
Completed in 1985, 200 W. Adams is a 30-story, Class-A office tower located at the corner of Adams and Wells Streets in the heart of the CBD. It offers tenants a prime West Loop location with easy access to various modes of public transportation. The building was renovated in 2017 and now offers a conference center and 24/7 fitness center.
