Chicago-based Draper and Kramer, Incorporated promoted four team members within its property management division: Kevin Cooky to assistant vice president, regional property manager and revenue manager; Kurstie Butcher to assistant vice president and regional property manager; Kelli Stuart to general manager of 1350-1360 Lake Shore Drive and 61 Banks Street in Chicago; and Amber Redding to manager of Hubbard221 in Chicago.
Cooky, who previously served as revenue manager and general manager, brings more than 15 years of experience in real estate operations and management to his new role. Additionally, he serves as in-house Yieldstar and Revenue IQ expert for Draper and Kramer, working closely with the firm’s multifamily sites to assure occupancy stabilization and rent growth. Cooky is an Illinois Licensed Real Estate Broker and a Certified Property Manager (CPM) through the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM).
Butcher, who was promoted from property management/operations specialist, has been part of the Draper and Kramer team for six years and has worked in the property management industry for 11. In her new role, she will oversee properties in the firm’s Texas portfolio, which includes 4 rental communities, as well as some in Chicago.
An Illinois Licensed Real Estate Broker, Butcher holds both CPM and Accredited Residential Manager (ARM) certifications through IREM. She was named to the IREM 30 under 30 in 2022, and was awarded the IREM Chicago 2022 ARM of the year. Nationally, Kurstie actively contributes to IREM’s DEI Advisory Council, chairs IREM’s Foundation Associate Board and is set to join the Foundation Board of Directors for the 2024-2026 term.
Stuart has been with Draper and Kramer for 12 years and has over 15 years of experience in the real estate industry. In her tenure with Draper and Kramer, she has served in several roles, including property manager and leasing director. In addition to holding CPM and ARM designations through IREM, she is also an Illinois Licensed Real Estate Broker.
Redding joined Draper and Kramer three years ago after getting her start in the real estate industry in 2018 as an administrative assistant. She continually worked toward advancement, and was previously promoted to the role of leasing director before becoming a property manager. She holds ARM certification through IREM.
