Chicago’s Leopardo promotes long-time employee to director of field operations

Chicago’s Leopardo promoted long-serving superintendent Shawn Buehler to the position of Director of Leopardo’s field operations.

Buehler joined Leopardo in 2005 and rose to the position of senior superintendent and team leader, in which capacity he oversaw and managed numerous high-profile projects and a team of superintendents.

During his 20 years with Leopardo Construction, Buehler has played a key role in Leopardo’s field operations, embodying its tradition of excellence and fully embracing the company’s core value of safety always.

His impressive 35-year career encompasses millions of square feet of construction and features some of Leopardo’s most celebrated projects across multiple markets, including the 201,700-square-foot, 24-story 4 East Elm condominium tower, the 70,772-square-foot Northwest Community Healthcare (NCH) Outpatient Care Center in Buffalo Grove, the complete interior and exterior renovation of Radio Flyer’s headquarters, and the recently completed 80,900-square-foot Downers Grove Civic Center.

In his new role, Buehler will be responsible for leading and implementing strategies for Leopardo’s field operations. He will develop and implement operational plans aligned to achieve the company’s strategic vision, and partner with senior leaders and operational support teams to develop field risk control strategies.
