Chicago-based Quadrangle, LLC in early March began construction of the new U.S. headquarters for animal health sciences company Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica, Inc. in St. Joseph, Mo.
The four-story 100,000-square-foot administrative office building was designed by GBA.
The new site is part of Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica’s research and development campus, located in the heart of the Animal Health Corridor stretching from Columbia, Mo., to Manhattan, Kan.
Peak Construction is scheduled to complete the building in 12 months. Quadrangle will then sell the building to Lexington Realty Trust, a New York City-based REIT.
