Chicago’s Ventas, Inc. has named Robert Probst as its executive vice president and chief financial officer. He will take his new position this month, and will work with retiring chief financial officer Richard Schweinhart.
Probst brings more than 25 years of experience in finance and capital markets to his new position. He previously served as senior vice president and chief financial officer for Beam Inc., a position he held from 2008 to 2014. He was a key player in establishing the former unit of Fortune Brands as a stand-alone publicly traded spirits company in 2011.
