Chicago’s Wright Heerema Architects appointed Kimberlyn de Buhr as the firm’s new Director of Business Development. With a background in tenant representation brokerage and marketing, de Buhr brings valuable real estate insights to the architectural and interior design firm.
De Buhr’s appointment marks an exciting chapter for WHA as the firm expands its market reach, including the cannabis and pharmaceutical sector. Leveraging her robust expertise, she will strengthen existing client relationships while spearheading initiatives to broaden the firm’s portfolio.
Previously, de Buhr served as senior vice president with Transwestern’s Tenant Advisory + Workplace Solutions group in Chicago. In this role, she advised clients in all aspects of their tenancy and was specifically skilled in maintaining successful long-term client relationships.
Prior to her work in business development and commercial real estate, she was a marketer and graphic designer for automotive and related industries.
