John McGurk, the chief of staff for Kansas City Mayor Sly James, will join Kansas City law firm Polsinelli on Dec. 1.
McGurk, who served for three-and-a-half years as chief of staff for the mayor, returns to Polsinelli as shareholder in the firm’s real estate development practice. McGurk previously practiced at Polsinelli for nearly four years.
