CIBC has named Jim Roemer head of commercial real estate banking in Wisconsin. Roemer, who succeeds Mark Lemke, will work in the company’s Milwaukee office.
Lemke has retired after 41 years in the banking industry.
Roemer previously served as managing director of commercial real estate with CIBC. He joined the company, formerly known as the Private Bank, in 2004 from Irgens Partners. At Irgens, he served as senior vice president.
Roemer has also held positions with US Bank, GGP and MetLife.
