Cicero’s Development Corp, a leading renovation contractor specializing in the hospitality industry, will collaborate with Chicago-based architectural/interior/ADA design and project management firm Zimmerman Weintraub Associates LLC, in the multi-million dollar renovation of the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott in Bedford Park, Illinois. The project is scheduled to begin in March 2015 with fast-track completion targeted for May.
Conveniently located just blocks from Chicago’s Midway Airport, the hotel will receive an upgrade that will extend throughout its reception area, lobby, and public spaces and into 114 guest rooms to create a cohesive and revitalizing atmosphere, assuring brand integrity and total consistency with Fairfield’s heritage of great service.
Notably, the design includes the signature “smart” room decor package that welcomes guests into a comfortable, productive and restful environment. Flexible and functional, the smart room includes a well-designed work area, an ergonomic chair, task lighting and electrical outlets where guests need them.
The refreshed Fairfield Inn and Suites will offer inviting accommodations for both business and leisure travelers with families. Every aspect of the hotel — from furniture and lighting to colors and fabrics — will be thoughtfully renovated to offer vibrant and collaborative spaces. Guest rooms will feature new carpet, lighting, curtains, updated bathrooms with new tile, vinyl wall coverings, tub surrounds and light fixtures, and paint schemes, while the recharged public areas will provide a great setting for conducting casual meetings or simply socializing in an open environment with modern upbeat colors, accent fabrics, new carpet, updated check-in areas and fitness center, and re-tiled pool area.
