Cicero’s Development Corp. has been selected to lead a design-build project for NIDEC-SHIMPO, INC. that will help the power transmission manufacturer provide a healthier work environment for the employees in its Itasca, Illinois, facility.
Scheduled for completion in less than six weeks, Cicero’s planned renovation is a physical representation of NIDEC-SHIMPO as a forward-thinking organization. Bright colors and organic materials articulate the various manufacturing functions contained in the building that houses, among other processes, the company’s growing Kit Build Center.
Project areas include manufacturing, office space, conference/meeting rooms and the employee lunch room.
