Clear Height Properties adds four team members

Clear Height Properties has hired four new people to bolster its accounting, property management and administrative operations. The new employees include Tom Seurynck, vice president, asset management and acquisitions; Lauren Arnold, property management associate; Vicki Ta, senior accountant and Brock Chenier, associate project manager.

Seurynck brings several years of real estate and financial services experience to his position as vice president at Clear Height. In taking on this asset management and acquisitions role he will report to Gary Rose and be involved in the sourcing and execute the closing of new acquisitions. He will also be involved in evaluating current properties and determining how to best enhance the value of the asset, including the timing of its disposition.

Most recently, since mid-2014, he was senior manager – financial services at Regency Centers. In that capacity he analyzed acquisition and development opportunities in the central U.S. and assisted in the asset management of existing properties, including potential leases and dispositions. Previously he served as vice president of acquisitions / due diligence for Pine Tree Commercial Real Estate. Analyzed and evaluated potential retail real estate investment opportunities nationwide, with properties ranging the spectrum from development to complete stabilization. Coordinated the due diligence process for properties under contract

Seurynck also has worked with firms that included Marcus & Millichap and Wrightwood Capital. He received an MBA in finance and entrepreneurship from University of Chicago. He earned a BBA degree in accountancy from the University of Notre Dame.

Bringing eight years of financial and accounting experience to her position as property management associate at Clear Height, Arnold has held various accounting and property management positions at JLL, most recently as an accounting associate and previously as a property associate. Prior to that she held various positions at Northern Trust, MidWestOne Bank and The National Bank.

At Clear Height, her responsibilities will include coordinating with accounting in lease administration and tenant communications. Arnold earned a bachelor of business administration from the University of Iowa. She has been an active member of BOMA Suburban Chicago as a member of the Emerging Leaders Group. She also completed BOMA’s Fundamentals of Real Estate course.

Ta has approximately seven years of experience in various accounting positions with businesses, financial institutions and commercial real estate firms. Most recently she was an associate accountant with JLL. Among her responsibilities were managing the accounting activities for seven different properties managed by the firm. This included directing accounts payable and receivable operations and managing cash balances.

At Clear Height, her responsibilities will include all day to day transactions, portfolio and corporate communications. Ta earned a master of science in accounting at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Chenier brings more than four years of real estate and construction industry experience to the firm, most recently as assistant project manager at Savills, Inc. where he helped manage more than one million square feet of tenant projects in his two years with the company.

At Clear Height, Chenier will help in the management of third-party assignments as well as construction and development services projects at properties that are owned by Clear Height. Chenier earned a BS degree in business (finance) from the University of Minnesota.
