Clear Height Properties has announced the promotions of Gary Rose, from Managing Director, Asset Management & Acquisitions to Chief Operations Officer and President. Joe M. Sergi, a partner in the firm and formerly its COO takes on the new role of Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). The announcements were made by Clear Height CEO and Partner, Dominic Sergi.
“Clear Height Properties continues to grow and expand—the size and scope of its real estate portfolio, the relationships and partnerships that create new opportunities, and the team necessary to execute our business on a daily basis,” says Dominic Sergi. “To facilitate further growth, we’re adopting this expanded structure to align talents, foster even greater levels of accountability and produce even better results for the firm.”
Gary Rose, COO and President
As COO and President, Gary Rose will continue to lead asset management and acquisitions operations, as well as oversee the firm’s property management and finance functions. The overall shift in responsibilities for Rose is part of the CHP leadership team’s long term strategic plan to align the company’s growing team, expanding real estate portfolio, and broadening investor base to achieve the company’s strategic growth initiatives.
“I’m excited to help drive the continued momentum, growth and success of CHP by expanding my strategic and day-to-day involvement in guiding the key operations of the company,” says Rose.
Gary Rose joined Clear Height Properties in 2018 bringing over 15 years of experience and a strong track record leading the acquisition and long-term asset and portfolio management strategies for well-known real estate investment firms, including Equity Group Investments, Ares Management and Wrightwood Capital.
Joe Sergi, Chief Revenue Officer and Partner
As Chief Revenue Officer and Partner, Joe Sergi will be focused on, among other things, building and further enhancing the partnerships and joint ventures that have allowed Clear Height to refine its core philosophies. Clear Height has had considerable success, in part due to these strong partnerships, to compete for select core industrial assets and value-add suburban office properties.
“We’re looking to build on our core strengths and strategies to further grow the Clear Height portfolio of properties,” Joe Sergi says. “We see great opportunity ahead and are well-positioned to pursue and realize those opportunities.”
Joe Sergi joined Clear Height Properties in 2015 as COO. Previously, from 2009 to 2015, Joe was the Senior Vice President for Rex Electric & Technologies, a family business he operated with his father. Under Joe’s direction, Rex completed a number of strategic acquisitions to enhance its growth; the Technology Division doubled its size through his business development efforts. Joe started his career in commercial real estate as a tenant representative broker with Newmark Knight Frank.
