Cleveland Construction’s Dan Dietrich takes on new role as VP of construction

Cleveland Construction Inc. announced Dan Dietrich’s promotion to Vice President of Construction. In this role, Dietrich will oversee all Cleveland-area construction projects for Cleveland Construction Inc. while managing new business development.

Dietrich has worked for Cleveland Construction Inc. since August 2002, after he earned his Bachelor of Science in construction management and architecture from Bowling Green State University. He progressed from assistant project manager to project superintendent to project manager in 2003 and, most recently, senior project manager in 2011.

With this promotion, Dietrich will replace David Sawicki as Vice President of Construction overseeing projects in Cleveland. Sawicki will retain his title as he relocates to the firm’s regional office in Charlotte, NC, to oversee projects and business development there.

Building on his project management experience around the country, Dietrich’s new role in Cleveland will add business development responsibilities. As VP of Construction, Dietrich will oversee local construction projects while supporting the firm’s overall growth objectives by identifying new clients and project opportunities. He will focus on expanding work in all market sectors, including: historic renovation, retail, hospitality, adaptive reuse and renovations.
