Cohen Real Estate has been retained to exclusively market Garden City Plaza, a full-service shopping center in Garden City, Kansas.
The 102,648-square-foot shopping center is 98.2 percent occupied and anchored by national and regional retail tenants with a 100 percent renewal rate. Tenants include JC Penny, Buckle, Maurices, Famous Footwear, Foot Locker, Riddles Jewelry and Game Stop.
Located on East Kansas Avenue in Garden City, the retail center is surrounded by a mix of well-established restaurants, banks, supermarkets, discounters, home centers, medical offices, drug stores and more than 700 hotel and motel rooms. The shopping center is shadow-anchored by Sears, and is adjacent to Dick’s, Menards, TJ Maxx, Ross, Ulta and Target.
“Garden City Plaza is a successful shopping center with a strong base of retail tenants, and is surrounded by a variety of other thriving businesses,” said Helen Putterman, president of Cohen Real Estate, in a written statement. “We are certain the strong tenancy and optimal location will quickly generate a significant amount of interest and result in a fantastic sale.”
The property is being delivered free and clear. The owner will also have the ability to develop one, or possibly two, outparcels.
