Coldwell Banker Commercial River Valley completed the $10 million sale of a three-story, 66,000-square-foot office building off Interstate 90 in the La Crosse/Onalaska corridor of Wisconsin.
Located at 2700 Midwest Drive in Onalaska, Wisconsin, the building occupies six acres with an adjoining four acres.
The buyer is Kwik Trip Inc., which will utilize the site for its training department, part of its accounting department and other office employees. However, its corporate headquarters will remain at its current location on the far north side of La Crosse, where the company’s production facilities are also located. Kwik Trip Inc., founded in 1965 and based in La Crosse, operates approximately 880 convenience stores primarily in Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Iowa, but also in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Illinois and South Dakota.
Broker/Owner Chuck Olson represented the seller, Ron Houser, owner of Midwest Investment I, LLC. Houser developed the office space from the ground-up and began utilizing it in 1993; he later sold the property but reacquired it a few years ago. It was on the market 734 days before finding the right buyer in Kwik Trip.
