Colliers has added a broker to its Kansas City, Missouri, office.
Chris Newkirk joins Colliers Kansas City as a vice president, specializing in sales and leasing in the retail sector. Newkirk was previously a vice president with CBRE, where he spent the last seven years.
Newkirk’s experience includes leasing for Crown Center where he signed Sea Life, Legoland, Spin Pizza, Unforked, Starbucks, La Fuente and Burnt End BBQ as new destination tenants. He has also negotiated deals with several retailers including Skechers, Hobby Lobby, Freddy’s, Texas Roadhouse, AT&T and Anytime Fitness.
