Colliers International | Chicago has arranged the $4.9 million sale of United Business Mail’s 81,084-square-foot warehouse facility located at 1001 Foster Avenue in Bensenville, Illinois to Midwest Distribution. Colliers’ Steven Kohn, SIOR, represented the seller in the disposition.
Situated on 3.2 acres, 1001 Foster Avenue is a recently modernized facility with 22-foot clear ceiling height, car parking for 68 and three interior and three exterior docks. Located in DuPage County, where taxes remain low, the facility offers a premier location with easy access to O’Hare International Airport and I-90, I-290 and I-294 expressways.
“We are pleased to achieve a favorable sale on behalf of our long-time client,” said Kohn. “This is the fifth transaction in five years in which we have represented United Business Mail.”
Midwest Distribution, one of the largest wholesale distribution companies in the United States, will move its headquarters to 1001 Foster Avenue. The company continues to experience rapid growth and, since opening in 2014, has grown its business at more than 100 percent each year.
