Datassential has signed a 13,806-square-foot lease at 1201 West Lake St. in Fulton Market. Colliers Chicago Executive Vice President Dougal Jeppe negotiated the long-term headquarters transaction on behalf of the company which helps food and beverage companies of all sizes and segments develop, launch and sell new concepts by leveraging some of the industry’s best data. Datassential will make the move from 18 South Michigan Ave. when the lease commences in January 2022.
Datassential’s new space features a state-of-the-art, large open kitchen and an outdoor deck that allow for client entertainment and employee collaboration.
“The opportunity to upgrade space was too good to pass up,” said Jeppe. “Now this company that serves the food and beverage industry has space that is on brand and in the center of Chicago’s most vibrant culinary scene.”
Delivered in 2019, 1201 West Lake St. is a 135,000-square-foot, Class A office building wrapped in floor-to-ceiling glass. It features modern amenities such as a wellness center, tenant lounge, bike room and parking for 45 cars. It is easily accessible by CTA and is a short distance from Union and Ogilve Stations. It is owned by McCaffery and New York Life.
