Colliers Chicago’s Jeff Devine and Steve Disse represented TA Realty in the sale of Jefferson Business Center, a 169,250-square-foot warehouse/distribution center located at 1748 Jefferson Avenue in Naperville, to Black Creek Group.
“This is a great building built by a best-in-class developer,” said Devine, an executive managing director at Colliers Chicago. “It is in the heart of Chicago’s western suburbs and designed to serve the most active tenant size in one of Chicago’s deepest industrial submarkets.”
Completed in 2019, the Class A facility includes all the features required by mid-size distribution/logistics users in today’s market including 32-foot clear ceiling height, 21 loading docks, 203 car parking stalls and 23 trailer stalls. The building was fully leased to four tenants at closing.
It is located in the mature, master planned High Grove Business Park and offers a high image corporate environment and easy access to a full interchange at I-88 only three miles to the north. In addition, Naperville, the third largest city in Illinois and the largest demographic concentration in the state, provides an abundant labor pool from which to hire.
