Colliers’ Tom Volini and Sven Sykes helped Shamrock Trading Corporation expand its Chicago-area footprint with a new 24,800-square-foot lease at 151 N. Franklin St. in Chicago.
With the lease, the Kansas City-based firm establishes a presence in downtown Chicago to complement its location in Lombard.
Shamrock, the parent company of a growing family of brands in transportation services, finance, and technology, selected the property for its robust amenities package and proximity to public transportation. As they continue to expand their workforce, they hope to attract top talent with a modern, collaborative workspace designed to support continued growth and innovation.
151 North Franklin is a 35-story, 807,000-square-foot, technically advanced office tower in the heart of Chicago’s CBD. Designed by John Ronan Architects, it offers tenants column-free floorplates with an abundance of natural light. Its elegant design seamlessly blends the indoor/outdoor experience with a rooftop sky garden and landscaped second floor terrace. The building is certified WiredScore Platinum, which recognizes best-in-class digital infrastructure and connectivity in office properties.
In addition, Volini and Sykes brokered Civiltech’s expansion at 30 N. LaSalle. The transportation and civil engineering firm increases its space at the building by 62%, growing from 9,000 to 14,582 square feet, and relocating from the 32nd to the 20th floor.
30 N. LaSalle enjoys a prime location at the corner of Washington and LaSalle Streets and sits just steps from City Hall and all major transportation hubs. Amenities include a conferencing center, on-site dining, and a courier center. Civiltech has been a tenant in the building for 20+ years.
