The Colliers|Wisconsin investment services team closed on the sale of the Shoppes at Brookfield Commons, a shopping center in Brookfield, Wisconsin.
Colliers represented the seller and secured a buyer, a private Illinos-based real estate company. The buyer and seller split the defeasance of the CMBS loan at closing.
The Shoppes at Brookfield Commons is a 42,356-square-foot shopping center at the intersection of West Bluemound Road and North Moorland Road. The sales price was $9.165 million.
The center is 40% vacant, but the current tenant mix features national and regional tenants including Chipotle, H&R Block and LasikPlus, offering the buyer significant upside.
The Colliers team, led by senior vice president Adam Connor, secured the buyer for the property.
