Colliers closes sale of historic inn in Michigan

Colliers International negotiated the sale of 13,579 square feet of mixed-use hospitality space, The Clinton Inn, located at 104 W. Michigan Ave. in Clinton, Michigan.

Jim Chaconas, Senior Vice President at Colliers International Ann Arbor, represented the seller, Mark Pedersen, in the sale. Pedersen and his wife have operated The Clinton Inn for more than 28 years.

The Clinton Inn is a historic restaurant and hotel that has been a downtown Clinton landmark for more than 100 years. The new owners, the Huffaker family, want to live up to the history of the space and hope to get the Inn more involved in its small-town community.

While the Huffakers anticipate a much-need renovation in the future, The Clinton Inn is still open for business.
