Colliers Detroit brokered the sale of 66,000 square feet of industrial warehouse and distribution space at 1227 Centre Road in Auburn Hills, Michigan.
Joseph Gatliff, Senior Vice President with Colliers, represented the investor who purchased the building. The previous occupant is a global supplier that is an industry leader in thermal solutions and fluid systems.
Gatliff was able to successfully negotiate the purchase of the asset, while simultaneously structuring a short-term leaseback with the seller. The new owner is actively discussing the space with prospective tenants with the goal of finding a new long-term R&D/Industrial user.
