3DXTech launched in 2014. In 2015, the company leased 6,000 square feet at 571 Gordon Industrial Court in Byron Center, Michigan. Due to its growth and increased global demand for functional 3D printing materials, 3DXTech purchased the 68,000-square-foot Grand Rapids building in August and plans to occupy 24,000 square feet of the building immediately with plans to expand into the rest of building in coming years.
3DXTech is in the process of renovating the building to support expanded materials production as well as parts and assembly fabrication.
The sale was an off-market transaction. Trent Wieringa associate vice president with Colliers International|West Michigan, represented the seller.
