Blue Ribbon Management has purchased a 64,430-square-foot industrial flex building at 10448 N. Port Washington Road in Mequon, Wisconsin, near Milwaukee.

The buyer plans to transform the space into a high-end, Class-A self-storage facility. A substantial redesign will include the addition of a second floor, bringing the total size of the space to 131,250 square feet.

The building, which previously housed custom fabricator Fabrico, Inc., sits in close proximity to Interstate-43.

The transaction was facilitated by Bill Langhoff, Josh Minkin and Joe Langhoff of Colliers|Wisconsin, who represented the seller. Brett Deter of Founders 3 represented the buyer, Blue Ribbon Management.

The expansion and redevelopment will be led by general contractor and architectural firm Anderson Ashton. Construction will begin soon, with plans for the building to be fully operational by the first quarter of 2022.
