Eurofins Viracor, Inc, a clinical testing lab, has outgrown its current headquarters and lab space. The company will be relocating from Lee’s Summit, Missouri, across the state line to Lenexa, Kansas, thanks to its representation by Colliers International.

Viracor purchased 14.89 acres of industrial land in the Meritex Lenexa Executive Park surface development project located in the heart of Lenexa and Johnson County.

The site is east of the K-10 Highway and Ridgeview Road extension between 98th and 99th Streets. The location provides excellent access to the I-435, I-35, and K-10 highway corridors.

During the initial phase of construction, Viracor plans to construct about 110,000 square feet of office, lab and warehouse space. The proposed building and site will allow for expansion in the future for anticipated growth. Construction is expected to start in August 2020 with a targeted completion date in the fourth quarter of 2021.

Tom Haverty, executive vice presidentw with Colliers International, along with Ed Elder, president of Colliers International, represented Viracor in the land transaction.
