Colliers International announces promotion in industrial department

David R. Kahnweiler, SIOR, chairman and chief executive officer of Colliers International | Chicago, has announced the promotion of Dominic DeRose from associate to senior associate. The promotion acknowledges his success in fulfilling client requirements and contributing to the firm’s increasing market presence.

Mr. DeRose, 27, joined Colliers International in 2010 as an associate within the Industrial Advisory Group. Since then his concentration has been primarily in the I-55, I-80 and I-88 Corridors. His noteworthy completed transactions include a 400,000-square-foot lease to Creative Works at 1350 Munger Road in Bartlett on behalf of owner Exeter Property Group and an 849,000-square-foot lease to IKEA at 501 International Parkway on behalf of Prologis.

Mr. DeRose received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Northwestern University. He is a native of Chicago, IL and currently resides in the River North neighborhood.
