Danzón Cubano, a Cuban-inspired restaurant on 1 Carlton Ave. SE in the Fulton Square development of Grand Rapids, Michigan, began serving customers Oct. 26, according to Colliers International|West Michigan.
Danzón Cubano is inspired by Cuba’s history and its European and Caribbean influences. The 3,366-square-foot restaurant will accommodate up to 142 people. It will feature Cuban-inspired cuisine and drinks, such as authentic Cuban Sandwiches, Rabo Encendido (Ox Tail Stew) and Ropa Vieja. Danzón Cubano will be open for brunch, lunch and dinner.
Mark Ansara, associate vice president of Colliers International|West Michigan, represented Fulton Square in this lease transaction.
Fulton Square is a mixed-use development in the heart of a thriving neighborhood that offers 47 market-rate apartments and features four ground-floor retail spaces with ample parking. Since opening in 2017, Fulton Square has maintained at least 95 percent occupancy and is currently full. The development features additional lifestyle retail boutiques such as E+L Salon, Ada Mae, and MODRN GR.
Colliers International|West Michigan provided leasing services and Orion Construction provided construction services for Fulton Square.
