Laura Kalina has joined the Chicago office of global real estate services firm Colliers International (Colliers) as marketing director. She will spearhead the strategic development and implementation of marketing campaigns, in support of business development goals, for the local offices and their multiple service lines.
Prior to joining Colliers, Laura was creative lead at InvenTrust Properties where she oversaw brand management, developed corporate standards for print, digital, advertising and all marketing collateral. Laura also produced video content and short films, showcasing properties for internal and external use. Her redesign of the firm’s website provided a more practical approach to navigation, sustainability, content, searchability and enhanced SEO, which resulted in increased traffic to InvenTrust’s website. Additionally, her strategic use of social media graphics more than doubled the company’s followers after the first year.
The Content Funnel, a leading content marketing platform that services hundreds of the industry’s top companies, recognized Laura’s work at InvenTrust with its “Best Real Estate Graphic Design” honor at its annual Real Estate Marketing Awards (#REMAS) in 2018.
A strategic creative with an excellent track record in the real estate world, Laura previously served as senior graphic designer at JLL and senior graphics coordinator at HFF. She began her career with Booth Hansen in Chicago.
Laura is a graduate of the International Academy of Design & Technology in Chicago.
