Colliers Chicago executives Steve Kling and David Florent have completed a new 22,256-square-foot, long-term lease with RSM US (RSM) at Schaumburg Towers located at 1400-1450 American Lane in Schaumburg, Illinois.
The nation’s leading provider of audit, tax and consulting services focused on the middle market will relocate from 20 N. Martingale Road to Schaumburg Towers in the fourth quarter of 2022. This transaction, along with other recent leasing accomplishments, brings Schaumburg Towers to 73% leased.
The new lease follows RSM’s U.S. headquarters relocation to 30 South Wacker, the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, in 2020.
Savills’ Rick Schuham represented RSM which has 16,000 plus employees in offices around the country.
Schaumburg Towers is a two building, 882,000-square-foot Class-A office complex offering an urban experience in the heart of the suburbs. Since 2017, America Landmark Properties has invested more than $20 million to renovate the building, refreshing the common areas while adding amenities such as a fitness center, conference room, game room and outdoor lounge. With the health and wellness of current and future tenants and visitors in mind, American Landmark Properties also updated all building systems, adding destination dispatch touchless elevator technology and modern HVAC systems.
Kling and Florent are the exclusive leasing agents for Schaumburg Towers. This is the 10th new lease the duo has signed at the property during the pandemic.
