Colliers International Chicago grows its brokerage ranks

Colliers International I Chicago has added several real estate professionals to its ranks, announced Colliers Chicago’s COO Phil Stafford. The new hires are Taylor Coulter, Pat Hake, Eric Okleshen, Christian Pera, Jeremy Scheck and David Silvers.

Silvers has been named vice president – strategy and analysis, joining the Colliers industrial team led by Brian Netzy. He will focus on business development, client research and financial analysis for the group’s corporate accounts. He most recently was a financial analyst with Colliers’ U.S. executive team. Silvers earned a bachelor of arts from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana.

Okleshen has made the move to real estate after a successful career working in brand management for Skeff Distributing in Decatur, Illinois. He also joins the Netzy team, and, as an associate, will specialize exclusively in tenant representation and business development. Okleshen graduated from Illinois State University with a bachelor of science.

A former Colliers Milwaukee associate, Hake brings his skills to Ned Frank’s industrial team in Rosemont. With experience brokering industrial, flex and land, he will specialize in tenant and landlord representation for leasing and sales in the greater Chicagoland area. He is a graduate of Marquette University.

Pera joins Colliers’ retail investment practice led by industry veteran Peter Block. In his new role, Pera will focus on brokering transactions of NNN retail properties with a main focus on QSRs (quick service restaurants). He joins Colliers after serving clients at Marcus & Millichap, where he worked with local and national real estate owners in investment strategy. In addition, he also founded the firm’s Toastmasters Club, an internal association aimed at strengthening staff members’ public speaking skills. He is a graduate of Indiana University.

Scheck, an associate, is the newest member of Collier’s industrial advisory group and will be working alongside executives Fred Regnery and Brian Kling on the acquisition, disposition, leasing and development of commercial real estate throughout North America. He is responsible for lease abstraction, financial analysis and gathering market intelligence for the team’s assignments. Scheck joins Colliers from Avison Young. He earned a bachelor of science from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana.

Lastly, Coulter is Colliers’ newest business insights analyst, supporting the firm’s U.S. brokerage business. He is a former CBRE research analyst and a graduate of the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.
