Colliers International Chicago makes nine promotions

Colliers International recently promoted six brokerage professionals and three real estate management services professionals. The firm said the promotions acknowledge each individual’s success in fulfilling client requirements and contributing to the firm’s increasing market presence.

Chris Cummins, in brokerage, received a double promotion from senior vice president to principal. Cummins received the 2015 NAIOP Suburban Office Broker Transaction of the Year award for his representation of Principal Real Estate Investors in a 209,000-square-foot lease to CDW at Tri-State International Office Center in Lincolnshire, IL. Additionally, he was named Colliers Chicago’s top producer in the firm’s Suburban Office Advisory Group for his 2015 performance.

Darryl Silverman received a double promotion from senior vice president to principal–his third promotion in the past five years. Silverman works in Colliers International’s Office Advisory Group, where he specializes in landlord representation and local tenant representation throughout Chicago. He was named a 2015 NAIOP Suburban Office Broker Transaction of the Year finalist for his representation of Equity Commonwealth in a 260,084-square-foot lease to Baxalta, at 1200 Lakeside Drive in Bannockburn, IL.

Ryan Barr was promoted from vice president to senior vice president. Barr focuses on servicing national corporate solutions accounts such as Wells Fargo, MTD Products, Nilfisk and ULTA Beauty. He has successfully completed over 4.0 million square feet of transactions in the past three years, saving his clients over $50 million.

Patrick Turner was named vice president from senior associate–his second consecutive promotion. Turner works in Colliers International’s Industrial Advisory Group, teaming with Principal Tom Rodeno. His expertise is in the greater Chicagoland area, with a primary focus in the O’Hare submarket. Since joining Colliers in 2011, Turner has been involved in over 130 transactions with a total value exceeding $170 million. He recently represented Tax Airfreight in a 55,000 square-foot lease at 10700 Waveland Avenue in Franklin Park, IL.

Ned Frank was promoted to vice president from senior associate. He is a member of the Industrial Advisory Group with a concentration primarily in the Lake County and North Suburbs submarkets. He was named a finalist for the 2015 NAIOP Industrial Speculative Development of the Year award for his representation of Prologis in a 210,000-square-foot lease to Power Equipment Direct at 969 Veterans Parkway in Bolingbrook, IL.

Jonathon Connor was promoted to senior associate from associate. He works in Colliers International’s Office Advisory Group, where he provides institutional and private investors with comprehensive leasing services, in addition to representing local, national and international corporations with their real estate requirements. He recently represented PT&C | LWG Forensic Consulting in a 19,000-square-foot office lease at 111 Deer Lake in Deerfield, IL.

Rachel Bernero, was promoted to account manager from senior property manager. He currently leads a team in the management of the Windham Lake Business Park and Amhurst Lake Business Park Owners Associations as well as a 3.5 million-square-foot office and industrial portfolio located in the Lake County Illinois, Southeast Wisconsin and St. Louis, MO markets.

Karen Ptasnik was promoted to account manager from senior property manager. Ptasni currently leads a team in the management of a 6.9 million-square-foot office and industrial portfolio located in the west and south suburban markets. She holds the Real Property Administrator (RPA) and LEED Green Associate designations.

Richard Chludzinski was named property manager from assistant property manager. He holds the LEED Green Associate designation, received his Masters of Architecture from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign and a MBA from the Keller Graduate School of Management at DeVry University.
