The Society of Industrial and Office Realtors honored eight Chicago-based Colliers International professionals with four different awards at the annual Chicago Chapter luncheon held at the Rosewood Restaurant in Rosemont.
Ronald Behm, SIOR, principal with the firm’s Industrial Advisory Group, received the “Largest Number of Industrial Intra-Chapter Transactions” award, completing 25 industrial transactions in cooperation with other SIOR Chicago members. This is Behm’s eighth consecutive year to receive this award.
Steven Kohn, SIOR, senior vice president, received the award for the “Largest Dollar Volume Transaction – Industrial Build-to-Suit for Lease with a Platinum Sponsor” for representing a major home improvement retailer in a 1.6 million-square-foot build-to-suit in Joliet valued at $120 million.
David Bercu, SIOR, principal, and Behm received the award for the “Largest Dollar Volume Transaction – Industrial Sale with Dual Platinum Sponsors” for representing James Campbell Company in a 723,000-square-foot, $33 million building sale in Romeoville.
Jack Rosenberg, SIOR, principal; Michael Senner, SIOR, executive vice president; Vernon Schultz, SIOR, executive vice president; Thomas Condon, SIOR, senior vice president, and Bercu received the award for the “Largest Dollar Volume Transaction – Industrial Build-to-Suit for Lease with Dual Platinum Sponsors” for Lawson Products’ 306,000-square-foot, build-to-suit for lease valued at $21 million. Rosenberg and Senner represented Lawson Products while Schultz, Condon and Bercu represented CenterPoint Properties.
