Grand Rapids, Michigan-based Colliers International|West Michigan is merging with Beacon Realty Group.
Matt Jones, founder of Beacon Realty Group, will bring his experience to the Colliers brand, expanding Colliers’ multifamily portfolio.
“We are thrilled to have Matt on board to help us with our continued growth in West Michigan’s multifamily market,” said Jon Potvin, managing director of Colliers International|West Michigan, in a written statement.
Beacon Realty Group is a Grand Rapids-based multifamily brokerage firm serving apartment owners and investors.
Bringing a decade of experience to his new position, Jones has facilitated nearly $250 million in transactions. Prior to starting Beacon Realty in 2016, Jones was the managing director at a leading mid-market multifamily brokerage firm based in Chicago. Jones has worked with clients that include small and large developers, private equity funds, family trusts and international investors.
Jones is a graduate of the University of Colorado and is a licensed real estate broker in Michigan and Illinois.
