Colliers International has promoted Detroit-based Brian Whitfield, from associate vice president to vice president and director of retail.
Whitfield spent five years with Ludwig & Seeley focusing on retail and restaurant real estate. He joined Colliers International in July 2013, specializing in tenant representation and shopping center leasing.
He will lead the group of retail brokers who have multiple levels of experience ranging from land acquisition for drug stores and big box development to implementing market strategy for retailers that are new to the market.
