A new retail project is coming to the Alpine North retail corridor at 4076 Alpine Ave. NW in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Colliers International is representing the newly planned retail project that will feature restaurants including Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers, Jimmy John’s and others.
The new retail strip has three buildings, ranging from 3,500 to 7,500 square feet. Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers will be the first tenant to join the north parcel in late 2018. Jimmy John’s, located in the south parcel, will occupy 1,500 square feet.
This portion of Alpine North continues to experience growth and will continue to see growth in months to come. For example, the 3850 Alpine Strip, which is 13,200 square feet, is filled with Verizon, Five Guys and Sherwin-Williams. Additionally, the Teppanyaki Grill, located at 3725 Alpine Ave., has been demolished to develop a 2,500-square-foot Panda Express.
“We are excited to see additional retail development in the Alpine North area,” said Mike Murray, Colliers International | West Michigan Senior Vice President, in a written statement. “The population of the area continues to grow due to new housing options and high amounts of travel through the area, driving demand for retail development. We believe it’s the perfect location for retailers to serve residents of this community.”
