The Wernke Team of Colliers International|Indiana Region recently closed the sale of a student-housing property in Toledo, Ohio. Located only 450 feet from the University of Toledo, University Hills Apartments is made up of six two-and-a-half story buildings containing 156 units and 246 bedrooms.
The property was listed by Michael Wernke, senior vice president of investment and multi-family services at Colliers, in conjunction with the Colliers International|Greater Columbus Region and Colliers International Student Housing Group, consisting of Dorothy Jackman, Travis Prince and Sean Baird.
The seller was an affiliate of DJT Student Housing Group. CREI-Toledo, LLC, a Capstone company, purchased the portfolio for an undisclosed price.
This marks the seventh multi-family sale for the Wernke Team in 2014, increasing the group’s transaction volume to more than $625 million.
