A three-building office portfolio in South Johnson County, Missouri, has sold for the first time since being developed more than 30 years ago. Located at the northeast corner of College Boulevard and Quivira Road, the College Oaks portfolio was initially developed for Farmers Insurance.
The College Oaks buildings include a total of 236,200 square feet occupied by more than 25 tenants.
Sterling Office and Industrial Trust, a REIT located in Fargo, North Dakota, acquired the properties through a competitive bid process led by the seller’s representatives Mike Yeggy and Gabe Tovar of Colliers International|Kansas City and Hayes Swann and Huston Green of Colliers International|Atlanta.
Colliers International|Atlanta arranged financing on behalf of Sterling. Colliers International|Kansas City will continue to manage and lease the properties on behalf of Sterling.
