Colliers International’s and Sykes complete two Chicago CBD lease expansions

Thomas I. Volini, executive vice president; and Sven Sykes, executive vice president; both with Colliers International‘s Chicago-based Office Advisory Group, represented Weaver Boos Consultants North Central, LLC and Cabrera Capital Markets, LLC in their respective recent Chicago CBD lease extensions and expansions.

Weaver Boos is a full-service engineering consulting firm headquartered at 35 E. Wacker Drive. Volini and Sykes completed a 10,842-square-foot lease extension and expansion on behalf of the company, while DUS Management represented landlord TDC Canada Corp and Wacker GP, Inc. Located in Chicago’s East Loop submarket, 35 E. Wacker Drive is a 560,000-square-foot, 40-story Class B office building originally constructed in 1926. Weaver Boos’ space is situated the 12th floor.

Cabrera Capital delivers asset management, investment banking and full-service institutional brokerage services worldwide to a substantial and diversified client base. Headquartered at 10 S. LaSalle Street, Cabrera Capital has seven additional offices headquartered in major financial markets across the country. Volini and Sykes completed a 10,949-square-foot lease extension and expansion for Cabrera at the 10 S. LaSalle building, while JF McKinney and Associates represented the building’s owner Madison LaSalle Partners, LLC. Located in Chicago’s Central Loop submarket, the city’s core financial district, 10 S. LaSalle Street is a 733,000-square-foot Class B office property constructed in 1986. Cabrera Capital occupies space on floor 10 within the 37-story building.
